More Comments at Google Map(Chinese-English) This one can be a cilantro heaven/ hell 😂😂😂 literally EVERY DISH has lots of cilantro. The Peruvians have some really weird taste indeed! I mean, there are so many different herbs and spices, why insist in using cilantro?! Anyways, the dishes were quite good. The following three are the must-try if you come here: Ceviche: this fish was born, raised, fed, and injected with cilantro juice all its life. Very strong, unavoidable cilantro taste. Quite good but can also work as a chemical weapon!🤣 Seco de res: the pesto sauce perfectly infused the string flavor of cilantro and made this dish delicious! The beef was very tender. A perfect dish! Escabeche de pollo: the roasted chicken was crispy outside and tender and juicy inside! Well done! It did have more of a strong taste of the cilantro, but it’s not unbearable. The salad, soup and drinks are normal. Overall, good restaurant! Definitely pay a visit! I have never eaten Peruvian food, so under the introduction of a Peruvian friend, I came to this restaurant whose owner is really Peruvian to try it out. Then, there is no more, cilantro hell! 😱😱😱😱🤣🤣🤣 Okay, let’s be honest, this one is actually quite delicious! Although most of the dishes contain coriander, the taste is not completely unpalatable. On the contrary, you will feel that although it takes some getting used to, it does add to the flavor. Here is a brief review of each dish: Lemon Salad Fish 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 According to a friend who traveled with me, the Cilantro Demon, it is very delicious! If you love coriander, this dish is a paradise, because this fish is definitely born in coriander water, raised in coriander water, eats coriander feed every day, and is injected with coriander juice from time to time! It's exaggerated enough, delicious enough, every cell is full of coriander, it's completely chemical weapons level! As brave as I swallowed it, I feel like a heroic sacrifice is probably the same! 🤣 Beef and Quinoa Rice with Pesto Sauce 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 This dish is really delicious and not affected by the coriander at all! The beef is super tender but not too chewy or disgusting, and the flavor of the pesto blends well with the coriander, making it less obtrusive. The overall stunning value is very high, a must-try! Spiced Grilled Chicken and Quinoa Rice 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 The grilled chicken is amazing! In fact, it should be spring chicken. In short, it is very crispy on the outside and soft and juicy on the inside. It is not spicy at all😍This dish is more affected by coriander and has a more abrupt feeling, but it is not uncomfortable and makes you want to vomit. The grilled chicken is also a must! Served with salad and soup 🌟🌟🌟 Well...very ordinary. The soup is full of coriander but not unpleasant or nausea-inducing. Drinks 🌟🌟🌟 We ordered Pisco sour and ginger ale, both were average. It’s not bad or amazing.
Quite unique dining experience. Really liked the chicken. They were quite meaty but it was still tasty. The soup was also unique and has a slight spiciness. We would've liked to try the whole chicken. Yeah, that's the advice. If you want to order it, they said you have to order it a day in advance. Even our South American friend also liked her experience here 'brings her back to her childhood'. Yes, the food is just a bit pricey but it was worth to try.
First time trying Peruvian cuisine in Taipei. It was a very impressive and pleasant dinning experience! Each dish tasted really great and authentic! Chocolate rice pudding is a highlight!
