Typical Taiwan service, the owner is passionate about food and it translate to his food. I only ever been here twice and both for lunch. The lunch customers are sparse. Most come for dinner. It's difficult to find parking nearby. Definitely not a dinner for two place; come in large groups and share in large platters. The king crab is huge and we got both way, boiled and grilled, both are amazing! The meat is always juicy and flavor amazing. The chef said there were no salt added, just the salt water diluted for blanching. The Japanese wagyu is blanched almost shabu shabu style. In a large porcelain pot on the table. The dipping sauce is made to go with it is refreshing, cut through the fat without overpowering the flavor of the meat. And let us not forget about their traditional Taiwan mince pork sauce over rice, a must have to finish the meal. Their golden bitter mellow is not too bitter for majority, but as I am traumatized from youth, I still refuse to try it. The appetizer uni dish is quite well done too. The uni, sea urchin, is rich, as is the roe eggs, the ship leaf cut through everything and round up to a refreshing feel in the end. The oyster noodles is a must try too. The oyster is plentiful and the noodle soak up the flavor without getting soggy, almost handmade quality to it. On a side note, this place does not take credit card, so please remember to bring lots of cash.

The owner, Brother Lu, kindly introduced each item of seafood with high CP value, and found that the king crab legs that he had eaten before were not good enough. After eating seafood from various fishing ports in northern Taiwan, I would rather spend more money to eat high-quality seafood dishes in Taipei. I tested the freshness of seafood based on my allergic constitution of urticaria, and the freshness passed the test.
