Had a superb dining experience with Danny’s Steakhouse today. We ordered a Michelin set menu for two, which included two sets of starters, soup, two servings of beef (mains), and two desserts. The starters were a pleasant surprise, especially the seared scallop, which paired wonderfully with the corn purée. The lobster was also very fresh and perfectly cooked. Both mains were cooked to medium rare, preserving the taste and tenderness of the meat. As for the desserts, the chocolate mousse surprised me. I expected it to be quite sweet, but the mascarpone cheese complemented the coffee jelly exceptionally well. The services were always swift and polite. Highly recommend the restaurant for a top notch dining experience!

Wow, so delicious. The food we ordered was beyond my expectations. Highlights for me were the tomato soup, steak of course, and the lamb. The only sad point was their wine by the glass selection. We ordered two red wines, neither of which were great. Still, I’m excited to come back for the food. I’d try different wines next time.

The dinner set menu is economical. Both steaks were cooked beautifully with wonderful moisture and tenderness. The flavours were awesome and they served you with three different “sauces” which gave the beef extra layers of flavours. The appetisers were great too. The scallop was perfectly seared. The temperature control was excellent. The tuna was too. The mushroom cappuccino was very rich. But it may taste a bit too simple and lack of depth. Service wise, they definitely welcome non Chinese speaking customers. Just that sometimes the staff might be too busy and their smiles might disappear. Overall, the steaks were good enough to drive me back.
