You only have the opportunity to eat here if your mother's friend invites you over. The space inside is not as big as a regular restaurant, but it also has open seating and private rooms. It's best to make a reservation before coming to dine. Because I don’t know the name of each dish, I can’t comment on them one by one. Except for the sashimi, which I don’t dare to eat, every other dish is delicious🤤 Seafood soup ➡️The soup was served as soon as you were seated. I drank about ten bowls of soup at noon that day. The soup was very fresh and sweet, and my mother told me not to drink any more. The scallops➡️ are also very fresh, they taste very chewy and sweet, and the overall taste is great. Sushi ➡️The chef made it into layers, it should be sushi, it looks great, the colors are beautiful, the color is delicious, and I ate two or three of them 😂 Fried shrimp ➡️The outside is lightly coated with flour, and the inner layer of shrimp is fresh. It goes perfectly with the special dipping sauce. Dessert➡️I guess the idea came from hand rolls, but the chef replaced the seaweed part with an ice cream cone. It is a creative dessert made with some seasonal fruits. After eating the fruits on top, the lower layer is filled with potato salad. It is not too sweet and tastes great and delicious. If it were not for eating too much soup and sushi in front, it would not be possible. I really want to eat more.

Matsuya Japanese Cuisine has a history of more than 20 years in Douliu. It used to be a traditional exquisite kaiseki cuisine, but now it is a Japanese creative cuisine renamed "Matsuya Western Style Japanese Restaurant". The craftsmanship is really outstanding!!
