More Comments at Google MapGreat service. Tasty organic food with fair price. The restaurant owner is truly passionate about local Taoyuan history. Most of their ingredients are sourced local. I was also surprised by some “food” that hardly found in Taoyuan. Like “chai latte” or “coffee pealed tea(it’s not coffee, it’s tea” Anyway, five stars⭐️ Oh and dining environment is great too.
The lady boss has a lot of stories to share and is very, very enthusiastic! We came here around 12 noon on Wednesday (closed on Mondays and Tuesdays), probably because it is a weekday and the store is in a small street (alley), so there are no other customers. The decoration inside the store is very diverse, but it can also be said that it is very unique. I once doubted whether I could dine inside at the entrance of the store. The two of us ordered the Ma Gao Lemon Chicken Thigh Steak and the Ginger Roast Roll Set, and also ordered Café Au Lait and hand-brewed coffee. Cooked to order, both meals were very good and delicious, very much in line with our tastes! The set meal also comes with a cup of Taitung's hibiscus tea. There is no added sugar at all, but fruits are used to bring out the sweetness. It is quite delicious. The point is, the lady boss shared many thoughts and stories with us, which not only made us feel full physically but also mentally! It is recommended that friends who like to listen to stories and have time permission can choose to come at noon on weekdays! Some people think that the consumption here is on the high side, but I personally think it is worth the money, and you can feel the real ingredients and the hostess’ care for the ingredients! For those who like to take (Internet beauty) photos, it’s also very easy to take photos here! They also provide space for local artists to display their works, including many of the Ban Niang’s own handiworks. In addition, they also organize many (indoor and outdoor, such as Yangmingshan and Huadong tribe) experience activities for the public to participate! I totally agree with what the landlady said, this is not just a restaurant, but an experience space! Come here and order a cup of coffee, plus a dessert (unfortunately, the boss lady was still making it this time... I couldn't eat it... many people recommended the fruit pound cake, I'll try it next time!), and then choose a book , you should be able to spend a pleasant lunch/afternoon time! Consumption is in cash only.
Using local organic ingredients, Cuisine cooks delicious food. Lion head, Huadiao chicken, medium roll, lemon shrimp are all delicious! After the meal, have a kumquat pound cake and look out the window at the ducks swimming in the paddy fields. It is a healing afternoon!
