They repurposed a building from 1950’s, with materials they have on hand. The staff is very polite and conversational. Feels like coming to a friend’s for a nice well thought through dessert.

Look no further for your next dessert destination. Chill Factor: Yes! Unique Flavors: Absolutely! Friendly proprietors: Yes! This unassuming Kaikigori shop is nest between a Korean restaurant and an egg cake shop. It's hidden away in the back alleys just away from the Roosevelt intersection. Their specialties are the shaved ice, which has some great flavors (Kumquat, Apple Cinnamon, Pink Grapefruit) vs. your regular run of the mill dessert shops. Everything is made to order, and followed up by an explanation by the owner. The taste of the shaved ice is extremely subtle and integrated, makes you want to come back and try more flavors. So far everything we have tried have thoroughly impressed us, guess this has become our local dessert venue:)

Incredible place. Delicious shaved ice with exciting and varied flavours. The other food and snacks are also very tasty. The owners are the nicest people, thank you so much.
