Su'ao Township, Yilan County｜光覺咖啡 Lighten Cafe

My husband and i were passing through from Jiufen to Taroko National park. We have become aware of this beautiful café. Our stopover in Lighten Cafe in Su'ao was unique. Yen and his wife have given us a warm welcome. We have felt very well. We tried three different coffees and the cinnamon roll it was a dream and very tasty. Besides very good conversations with the owners we got many helpful tips. WE liked it very much in the café and we can highly recommend it to others. Thanks for this good time!

It was the first time to visit Yilan and we were looking for a nice place to enjoy decent coffee but had never expected to meet such a nice couple there. This place is worth visiting because of the owner couple. Local coffee and the dessert were great, and you can see how deep their love for each other is. And the man is a true artist and he took photos of us, which was quite pleasing. Unforgettable experience, and one more reason why we should go there again.

Highly recommend!! The whole atmosphere felt so homely. I was welcomed and the owner introduced us to the many different coffees they offered. The brown sugar latte so good! Their cinnamon rolls are easily one of the best i’ve had. The Hualian coffee bean and Guji coffee bean was a really pleasant black coffee. Thank you so much!
