Su'ao Township, Yilan County｜南興冰店

Great ice shop that has sweet ice made from a cool looking machine. Very traditional store with a variety of toppings to choose from. Kids loved the plain ice and the adults could try their combo ice+ egg yolk. It’s not as fancy looking as the shop across the street but it tastes about the same to us. Must eat fast because there are mages that bite.

Love the ice kachang taiwan Traditional style with Raw Egg. Taste really good. Will be back later for second round.

Taiwanese style Shaved ice, the dessert consists of a large mound of ice shavings with various toppings on top, the most common ones include egg yolk, condensed milk, red beans, mung beans, peanuts and tapioca balls. Never thought I would enjoy such weird combination and that it would taste so good, a perfect stop for a yummy snack during our drive from Taipei to Hualien.
