This is a hidden gem by a busy road to and from ChangHua high speed railroad staton. Passing by many times and has been noticed this sweet shop but never stopped. Shaved ice with many choices of simple ingredients like red and green beans, taro root, cooked peanuts, pudding, bobas, and many others, then top with brown sugar water plus condensed milk, you got yourself a summer favorite snack to cool off. I finally stopped and ordered my first bowl of shaved ice last Saturday afternoons and I’m coming back again today (Wednesday) because they are closed for Monday and Tuesday. If you never had the shaved ice before, you need to come here and try it. If you like this simple delicacy of Taiwan, no matter where you are or where you at, this is the place you need to try at least once. You would not disappointed. You also can see the owner’s ( I believe ii is operated by a couple with there teenage daughter) sense of ingenuity by how they build and decorate the place from front and back yard to the indoor space. It is very simple but inviting with lots of neutral lighting in the daytime also comfort warming at night. I saw young parents with their kids, I saw family or friends gathering together to get a cool and chill afternoon. I even saw a business meeting taking place today. I will continue to enjoy this place when ever I’m in Taiwan for sure no matter is summer or winter.

The brown sugar ice cream and tofu pudding are both delicious. You can mix and match the ingredients freely, which is delicious and easy to photograph.

Really great people, and the best shaved ice desert I’ve had in several decades. The decor is very rustic and cozy, interior is by far the cleanest I’ve seen in Taiwan. Great job guys!
