I am not a fan of hot pot, but this place was one of the best (if not the best) hot pot places I have been to. I appreciate the orderliness of seating customers (no walk-ins!) and ordering soup bases and meats (via mobile!). The staff understood English and gave clear instructions on the time limit and price. We thought two hours was short, but we were already stuffed 30 minutes in. The seafood selection was insane! The squid balls had mozzarella stuffing. The scallops were sweet and fresh. Unlimited abalone — need I say more? There’s a sample sauce mix recipe in case you do not know how to make a dipping sauce. The highlight of our meal was the unlimited ice cream — so make sure you have enough stomach space for that. This should be one of your food destinations in Taiwan. Chef’s kiss!

The ingredient selection was fresh and diverse, with a wide variety of meats, vegetables, and noodles to choose from. I particularly loved the WAGYU beef, which cooked to perfection in the bubbling broth. The ambiance of the restaurant was inviting and cozy. The sleek and modern decor, combined with the warm lighting, created a relaxed atmosphere that was perfect for enjoying a leisurely meal with friends or family. Another standout feature was the cleanliness and hygiene standards maintained throughout the restaurant. Everything felt spotless, which is crucial for a place where customers prepare their own food. Overall, I can't recommend Mala Hot Pot Ximen Branch enough. Whether you're a hot pot enthusiast or just looking for a unique dining experience, this place is a must-visit. The quality of food, exceptional service, and pleasant ambiance make it a five-star dining destination in Ximen. I'll definitely be returning soon for another memorable meal!

Definitely worth the money. They have a lot of choices of unlimited hotpot menu to unlimited drinks and desserts. Highly recommend the spicy mala soup base for hot pot. Not the most approachable staffs and service can be a bit slow but still recommend this restaurant.
