Wanhua District, Taipei City｜Fuhong Beef Noodles

Beef is really soft. Soup doesn’t taste much without adding sauces imo. I was really surprised that some staff are Vietnamese and able to speak mandarin during night shift 😅 Good beef noodles for starting your trip in Taipei

As I am writing this review, I am literally crying with the knowledge that I am leaving Taiwan today and cannot eat here again. This is the first time in my life that I have been brought to tears over food, and if I could rate this one or two Michelin stars it would be fully deserved. The simplicity of the ingredients, the complexity of the flavors, the ambiance of the tv in the corner and shouting from the kitchen, make this the ultimate food experience. The flavors are clear and plentiful, the noodles are perfectly textured, and the beef is supple and juicy. The butter that you can add melts with and adds to all the flavors and makes for a rich, and simple yet complex broth, which is playful but not too obsequious. Do not miss this place if you are anywhere in Taiwan, it is worth every amount of effort to taste a bowl of heaven.

Hands down the best bowl of beef noodles I've ever had in Taiwan! If you can see past the long queues, cramped / humid seating space, I promise you won't regret ordering that delicious bowl of goodness.
