My favorite go to place for a braised pork belly rice. The Peik belly is so tender and the fats that melts in your mouth! The fats and braised sauce drips into the rice and makes it so good! It’s been at this address for many years now since I first discover this place. I hope they will still be here for many years to come. Try it. You will fall in love with it ❤️

Located at the opposite road of the heart of ximending. We missed the food very much. Since our 1st encounter few years back. Fried porkchop, fried chicken drumstick, stew pork + rice + soup + stew beancurd & egg. We ordered just everything they have in their menu. We went back the next day to take away both porkchop and fried chicken drumstick again. Well marinated, well fried (won't feel too oily), well stew. Heaven. Eventho the environment is not conducive but cannot miss the food.

150nt for two things- a rice bowl with sauteed cabbage and pickled greens with a thick fatty melt-in-your-mouth slab of braised pork, and a fried bone-in porkchop plate with the same sides! Super affordable, delicious and satisfyingly greasy traditional food. Not a fan of the hot sauce though which is not very spicy but overwhelmingly salty, and the pork chop was already getting soggy, but would still go again and recommend! The soup and fried chicken also looks yummy, and lots of people order small side dishes like braised tofu and veggies to complement the heavy richness of the meat and greasy rice :)
