Datong District, Taipei City｜Jia Xing Fish Ball Restaurant

Order: go straight to the reception at the door and grab a paper and a pen. Choose a seat and fill in the paper. Gave back the paper and the pen to the reception and pay the bill. Food: Fish balls had savoury and greasy stuffing with a fresh soup. The bowl of noodle combined well with them. The store also has some side dishes that I saw locals people eating with main dishes 🤷‍♀️ Restaurant: Dishes is quickly served although there are many people in this small place. They also have AC in the store.

Nothing fancy but the food is finger licking. Fish bowl is very rich but not greasy. Not sure what fish was exactly in the bowl but it was firm but not chewy. The fishballs were full of flavor. Even the kids wanted more and more. Can't wait to come back.

We bought take away to cook at home before, first time eating at shop. The balls are freshly made and cooked, so tasted very fresh, munchy, above expectation the mushroom balls, 4/person is never enough, the soup is tasty as well. Environment is as normal shop, quite crowded. Price consider not too pricey and value for money, do drop by for this olden day flavour, recipe from 1950. Will definitely come back more often.
