Datong District, Taipei City｜TAKEFIVE 五方食藏 大稻埕店

You might almost walk past this shop but for me, I’m just glad I went inside. 五方食藏 has the best French toast I’ve had. It almost feels like a soufflé pancake and yet the pairing with berries and cream is phenomenal. Also ordered coffee and strawberry shortcake which were both splendid. If you like the lightness and tenderness of Japanese pastries, this is a must-visit 💯

Had a nice tea break here. The drinks are nice. The staffs are friendly. Knowing that we like chocolate drinks that they don’t serves, they introduce us the next shop that does.

A little hidden gem of a place, the food is excellent, the menu changes frequently the staff are attentive. The bonus is that you can purchase a variety of cheeses on site 😊 If you like European food and European cheese, go here you won't regret it.
