This bowl of signature "Tenji Don" is a must-eat classic and has won the "Japan Tendon Golden Award" for four consecutive years. "Tenji Don" is rich in tempura including fresh shrimp, shrimp cakes, white fish, fried hot spring eggs, and pumpkin. The ingredients are combined in a bowl, and the three ways to eat Tendon, which is unique to Tenyoshiya, can be dipped in pureed radish, topped with Tenyoshiya's specially selected bonito and wild kelp, soup and other ingredients. Eat as you choose.

Excellent service and nice staff. I ordered seasonal special Tempura-don, the Eel 101 don. The crisp and the taste of the fried eel really surprised me, so as well the sauce with the rice. The steam rice, cabbage salad and soup are free for refill, just ask if you want some more. Waiting and queueing are inevitable during dinner time.

Maybe it's because I was too hungry when I stopped by this restaurant, everything just tasted so delicious for me. I ordered their TenKichi Don since it's my first visiting, didn't know what to expect. Even though the deep fried foods came with the rice didn't have crispy batter like traditional Japanese tempura, they still tasted very fresh and lovely. Plus, their staffs are all well-trained and very friendly. Overall, I had a very nice experience dining there.
