Datong District, Taipei City｜星夜Messier 87 bar(位於二樓)

外國人 here to say that this is one of the friendliest bars I have been to, especially compared to what I’m used to in the US. Staff are very knowledgeable about their drinks (going as far as to give me a rundown on their whiskey selection, and I received an excellent recommendation in the process). Some of the staff speak English, but all of them did their best to make me feel welcome. During slower hours, it’s an oasis from the storm outside, and when it’s busier this place really comes to life. Staff also work hard to keep you well hydrated, and conversations are always genuine and fun to have. Drinks are fairly priced considering the selection, quality of service, and cleanliness of the establishment. Every bar should strive for what this establishment exemplifies. 中仁

Atmosphere was great and the bartender Wen-Wen was funny and talkative. Long Island was really strong. Hopefully they will have power outlets for each table eventually
