The xiao long bao and the pork chop fried rice here are excellent. Actually, all the food here is tasty and quick. Utensils and sauces are self-serve. No restrooms, but you can ask for a key to a bathroom next door. It’s close to Mandarin Daily News, which is convenient either before or after kids get out of class there. The staff are friendly and easy going. It gets busy during lunch. Highly recommend getting a pastry (bing) as those come out immediately (or get it from the window for on the go). Cash only. We’ve eaten here many times!

I enjoyed the food. The hot and sour soup was really good. All the food was tasty, thought I prefer Din Tai Fung’a xiaolongbao. These weren’t far behind as the soup dumpling skins were quite thin and QQ.

Omg what the heck how have I been living in Taipei for the last 15. Years and never been to this joint. Forget about Ding Tai Feng This place is the real deal like Holyfield. The quality of the ingredients and the craftsmanship of the food and flavor profiles is superb. The best fried rice I’ve ever had. And the best sweet dumplings as well as veggie dumplings as well. Also the soup dumplings is the shizzz YO. We got there around eight and a lot of the dishes were already sold out
