Zhongshan District, Taipei City｜Chang'an Breakfast Restaurant

Had a bacon and egg 蛋饼 - loved the slightly crispy yet chewy texture. The flavours of the egg, bacon and dough were all equally prominent and nothing overpowered the others. Also had two serves of soy milk which was thick and creamy. All for only NTD80! Aunties were kind and friendly too. I heard the place used to be run by the Ah Ma who has now passed it on to her daughters. Ah Ma was still there helping out and had a bright smile on her face. The aunties were very polite and kept saying thank you and sorry, felt bad for them having to run about doing so much while attending to customers. If you enjoy an old school breakfast atmosphere, you will love this place that's tucked away in a corner.

tasty! No oil! Too much material! The auntie is super nice and the food is served very quickly!

Great Taiwanese breakfast place. Had the turnip cake, dan-bing and su-bing.
