Zhongshan District, Taipei City｜巴賽麗廳 La Brasserie

Me and my friends came here mainly for desserts, we have booked 1pm table and ordered some savories and desserts. We enjoyed their signature Crepes Suzette and Soufflé a lot :) Even their Irish coffee and French fries are worth trying.

Met an old friend for lunch at La Brasserie. Wow, what a treat this was. The service was attentive and the staff were all polite, professional, kind, and friendly. Waiter made good recommendations and as each dish / course was served, he described each in detail. The dishes were all beautifully plated and presented. Timing on the service for each course was impeccable and not rushed at all. The flavors were outstanding! The greens on the beef tongue appetizer were fresh, crisp, and well dressed. The chef’s daily bamboo soup was served piping hot and was very filling. My pork chop was tender and full of flavor. The highlight was the Soufflé dessert. It was light, fluffy, and a perfect way to end a nice meal. Even the warm bread and butter served at the start of the meal was delicious. La Brasserie is a great place to celebrate a special occasion but be prepared to spend a bit.

The pre-birthday dinner with my husband at La Brasserie was delightful. The legendary French-favorite brasserie in Taipei is totally worth the hype. “Real” traditional French cuisine served along with a team of professional chefs and servers. Again, I mean real traditional French dishes, highly recommended 🥂Will definitely revisit again.
