Zhongshan District, Taipei City｜Laowai Yipin Beef Noodle Restaurant

This small beef noodle soup shop has won several awards over the years. We ordered the red-stew beef soup without noodle, which was excellent, probably the best I ever had. I don't know what cut of beef was used but it's so tender. A word of warning: we specified medium spicy but it still tasted quite spicy. I will order mild spicy or no spicy next time. In addition, we ordered boiled pork dumplings that were very tasty as well. This restaurant is owned by an Iranian who went to Taiwan in his youth and never left. The wall is covered with news reports about him and his restaurant. Highly recommended.

Awesome beef noodles served here, the noodles and beef are cooked to perfection and the soup is rich and flavourful. And you can taste the hours of love and care that the chef has put into the beef broth.

We had a great experience at this noodle restaurant. The service was friendly and quick. The food was delicious. The side dishes were tasty and served as decent portions. The noodles were plentiful, the soup rich in flavor, and the beef was succulent. The owners are very friendly and interact with English and Chinese guests.
