Da’an District, Taipei City｜A-Ying Braised pork on rice

This restaurant can be regarded as the best lunch restaurant, you should go with friends. I recommend ordering the 1000cc drink, although it's 50 more than the normal size, it's worth it, the bigger drink.

The signature braised pork rice has a soft-boiled egg that is cooked just right, and the marinade is a bit sweet, which is my personal favorite. 60 for a small bowl, the price is not very cheap, but the portion is not small, it is acceptable I ordered a plate of blanched vegetables and what I came out with was fried cabbage, which was very special. The cabbage was very fresh and crispy, which means the store carefully selected the ingredients. Although there are very few seats for inside use, you have to wait outside, and you have to share a table with others, and those who are waiting outside for inside use don’t know who comes first. This part is not well planned, but if I only judge the taste, I still give it full marks 😂

Comfort food that is affordable and good! Go for the rice with egg option, it’s a heavenly combination. Expect to queue as the eatery is rather small, don’t expect ambience or top notch service. Go if you want a no-frills experience eating local Taiwanese food 👍🏻
