Da’an District, Taipei City｜一代佳人海鮮碳烤

Not a restaurant in a guide book, or easily findable on Google or even with a name we could understand (apparently... Generation Jiaren Seafood Charcoal Grill...) but this always busy eatery right opposite Da'an Park, with a covered upstairs terrace became our Taipei favourite because of the great food - choose your fish off the slab and they BBQ it for you - great atmosphere - one of the noisiest joints in town - and great value. Whole large red snapper fed two and came in at 400-500 Taiwanese dollars, and with beers, tofu, vegetable sides and rice - our bill never reached 1,000 TD in total. Highly recommended!

Good place for the fish lover. The fish is fresh and good. You can ask the staff to make some fish soup which is really good.

Delicious food! The food is very fresh and flavourful. If you come in a big group, it's better to make a reservation.
