Zhongshan District, Taipei City｜My Stove at Songjiang Nanjing Station

We had the sesame oil chicken, braised pork rice, long bean, and the oyster omelette. All was amazing except the long bean dish. The braised pork rice was definitely the star dish of this place (it was so good that we forgot to take a photo of it). Staff here were very friendly, although they seemed very confused when we asked for chilli. Definitely felt like homely food.

A very solid Taiwanese stir fry restaurant. We loved the three cup chicken, lu rou fan, fly's head and green beans with intestines. The flavours are on the strong side so pair very well with rice. Reservations are a must. Some dishes (sesame oil chicken rice) need to be reserved a day in advance so we didn't get to try them.

This was one of the best meals we had in Taipei. We came with only two people and managed to try five dishes and all were very good. Their braised pork rice is signature and one of the best in the city, a must try. All other dishes were amazing as well and the ingredients were very fresh.
