Having just moved here from Houston, Texas I have to say that I am very impressed and surprised by this little TEXAS BBQ joint in Taipei. The brisket was very, very good and better than a lot of brisket I get all around Texas. I tried the sausage link which was not Texas sausage at all. The Mac n cheese was delicious as well as the cornbread and French fries. The service was excellent but what made this place feel like Texas was the atmosphere. The tables were authentic and the music was EXCELLENT new Country! Oh and even though I didn't get it the smoked burger looked very good. Thank you Baba Kevin I will be bringing a lot of people here to give them a taste of my home! Hook 'em Horns!

Second time eating here and again loved it the food was great just like last time and I also ordered take out after dining in with my friend the packaging was so nice but I hope they didn’t put the macncheese container inside the box coz when I had to take it out the container was oily but this is just little things all in all I would recommend people I know to eat here my new favorite American restaurant in Taipei

I have ordered takeout and dined in multiple times at Baba Kevin's. The best dish I had was the Thanksgiving meal they offer during November and December. If you are staying in Taipei during the holiday season, I highly recommend going for some nostalgic American food. The turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, and pumpkin pie were incredible. My friends and I also ordered a group meal which included an entire turkey!! We had it on Thanksgiving and it was so delicious. The service was also very good. The owner will often offer you a drink as you wait for your table. He is very personable and kind. It's a great place to get American food if you are craving or curious!
