I’m so happy that Taipei has this little mom and pop restaurant. We tried the dry and soup version and both were really good. I prefer the soup because it’s just so flavourful! It’s definitely authentic. Order the one with everything inside!

Beef and pork intestine rice noodles $120. The soup is made from pork bones and Chinese herbal medicines. It is rich, fresh and sweet. The ingredients are peanut sour, shredded cowpeas, bamboo shoots and scallions. The rice noodles are thick rice noodles from Guangxi. It is chewy and satiating, and the beef is soft. It's tender but not woody, and the pig intestines are very elastic.

Unbelievably tasty. Rich flavor explodes in your mouth while you slurp the chewy noodle. Aroma of sesame seeds, pepper corns and chilis dares you to have more while the spiciness provides the addictive pain and tingling that spicy food lovers enjoy. Worth it.
