Da’an District, Taipei City｜越南河粉

This place was recommended to me by a Vietnamese friend and indeed it's super tasty. It still uses considerably less herbs than in Vietnam but the taste of the broth is superb. As common for such places in Taiwan, there are no obvious vegetarian options, but if you don't mind a meat-based broth they have a very affordable option without meat, so just noodles with bean sprouts and spring onion, which sounds simple but it's very satisfying.

Best pho in town! Though my girlfriend found the 牛腩麵包a bit salty
