Da’an District, Taipei City｜The Diner Ruian Branch

I’ve visited The Diner many times before for dinner. However, this was my first time having brunch there and I was very satisfied. The food here is always well prepared and packed with flavors. I highly recommend the blueberry pancakes, they were so good!

They have some of the best American food in Taipei. I love getting their breakfast, everything tastes authentic and delicious. Even the bacon is crispy (which you don't find often in Taiwan). The decorations are all Americana themed, especially 1950s style. I love going there for a treat. It is a bit expensive but totally worth it.

I've had a lot of The Diner's brunch-style dishes - from omelets to pancake meals to eggs benedict to biscuits and gravy - and I have to say, everything has been great. My personal favorite is the avocado toast in the picture here. Overall this restaurant feels a little pricey, and yet I keep coming back, so clearly it's worth it!
