Da’an District, Taipei City｜Jimmy's Hotdog

There are a variety of hot dogs and they provide lots of toppings: pickles, jalapeno peppers, tomato, etc. Hot dogs and french fries were amazing. Reasonable price and helpful, friendly staffs. Must try it if you are an American and miss hometown food.

So the other day my pop pop went back to Taipei and lo and behold he wanders off to grab some lunch. To my surprise he told me he went and got himself some hot dogs...!? I inquired pop pops further about this hot 🐶 adventure and he went on to explain its this tasty street food he used to get when he was a youngin... the portion size was adequate and paired nicely with the condiments. It was a nice meal but one thing that stood out was the time that was spent on toasting the buns... the buns were mmm mmmmm toasty... pop pops really would like to know what type of herb was grown outside though🤔

If you want a tasty American hot dog, come to Jimmy's. I ordered a chili cheese dog and a Taiwan beer for $220. The dog has a great bite to it and not mushy at all. I added some of their candied jalapenos to it. The bread also is very nice. I know that this hot dog is a little expensive in Taiwan but it is different from other hot dogs The place is also very comfortable and clean. I speak and read Chinese but appreciated their English menu to make it easy to order. If I can have any criticism, I'd say they are a little too careful too prepare a dog. After all, through the garden ain't a careful thing in Chicago. :)
