Da’an District, Taipei City｜Fourhappy Rice Dumplings

To be honest i absolutely hate rice dumplings. When I was little my mom filled up the fridge with them and i had to eat it for a month straight. Never again I thought. I got two of these for my friends and I was dreading to actually have to eat it. I threw it in the rice cooker for like 10 min to heat it up and it was perfect. The sticky rice was perfectly seasoned (with soy sauce) and the pork was tender and melts in your mouth. There was nothing else in there (thank God no weird egg yolk or hairy pork or chestnut or anything strange) just lots and lots of really tasty pork! Highly recommended!! Taipei best rice dumplings like they say! It's true!!

Climbing to the second floor, you can actually get there at a 30% discount. It’s worth it, but it’s such an old building, but it’s worth it. Fresh meat, fresh meat with eggs, rice dumplings with red bean paste, large portions, plenty of fillings and good taste. The marinated meat is actually made with licorice. I couldn’t buy the other eight treasures, pork ribs.
