Da’an District, Taipei City｜MOE燃炭火燒肉(二店)

Was craving BBQ meat or some good quality protein. I was recommended this place by one of my family relatives however they said we would need to make reservations to dine in here. This place was my favorite restaurant I dined at during my 2 week stay in Taiwan and the cuisine is mostly traditional Japanese BBQ with a slight fusion of Korean cusine. We were greeted in Japanese and were lead to our table. I had no idea an employee was going to cook our entire meal which made the experience much more enjoyable. Everything was cooked to perfection! All the beef had amazing marbling and I couldn't resist not taking any pictures and sharing it online. The premium meat were succulent and perfectly seasoned. Our cook would tell us which protein would compliment which house sauces which added more flavors in our course. We dipped our Japanese Hokkaido scallops and premium pork belly in their house lemon juice sauce. The rest of the proteins which was mostly beef (my favorite protein) were dipped in their subtle sweet and savory house soy sauce. If you don't mind what I would say "a fair priced* Japanese BBQ and enjoy eating delicious proteins and drinking alcohol with some friends or family, I can promise you this place is very enjoyable and satisfying! I would also like to thank Hiro who provided excellent hospitality and cooking everything for our table. Thank you again for making the entire experience memorable and I can't wait to come again on my next visit in Taiwan!

Awesome place for bbq, they have table service and the owner was so nice. Also lots of good choices for wine and sake. Offer table service, so you don’t need to cook it by yourself, leave to the pro, they offer you the perfect cooked meat!

Foods are great, and service is very well. The staff helped on everything so all we need to do is to enjoy the food. Servings vary depends on their daily offering but basically everything is good and delicious.
