It is very soothing during lunch time in a busy Breeze department store at one of the prime 南京復興business district. I really enjoyed having a very nice authentic Shanghainese cuisine while able to carry conversations in an open space dining hall. The service is very nice. The 東坡肉came with meat smell in the first bite. It could be the batch didn’t go through a process of removing it. The smoke fish’s color is not dark enough but it carries the right texture. I like the place in general. For sure it preserves the Shanghai flavor. It is a bit pricey. But, I can still comfortably give it a five-start rating

A quiet lunch place on weekday, perfect for conversation. Friendly service. Food in general is good. Enjoyed the pan-fried bun (they put sesame on the bottom so it is more aromatic and does not stick to the pan, see picture). The “lion-head” meat is well cooked and melt in the mouth.
