I think this place deserves a average much better than 4.1. I agree with many who gave 5. The CP value is high, the sashimi and grilled fish are the best. The sashimi is so fresh that it is elastic (Q). The carving is so skillful that the fish is without any tendon or blood vessel. The whole fish is grilled crispy on the skin but tender and moist inside. Besides the quality of the ingredients, the presentation is very good. The only faults I found were that there was no barley tea since I can't have caffeine. Also, the salmon-egg sushi was too salty with soy sauce added by the chef. The decore is simple and on the dark side. It is all made with hard surfaces, so a loud customer can be heard throughout the small restaurant. I tried the $1,000 omakase as the first test. I will go back and try other offerings, including the $480 discounted set meal.
