Da’an District, Taipei City｜May Snow Hakka Food

This restaurant serves nice Hakka food with reasonable price. The Sauerkraut and pork belly soup 酸菜豬肚湯 and pig feet 豬腳 are wonderful. This restaurant was listed on the Michelin-starred restaurants twice in the last 4 years!

A Michelin recommended Haka cuisine restaurant. Never know it is so popular as we have failed to book a table 3 times. Menu was with pics which made us easy to order. Food were amazingly delicious, to be really honest. But some traditonal Haka dishes (salt sticky rice ball...) need to book earlier. Suggest ask when booking the table. A special dish worth special notice was "knockle rice noodle" which need to be booked and only for birthday person. I was lucky to taste it which was magnificent. A restaurant that suitable for friends or family gathering. Worth trying if you fancy Haka dishes.

Proof that you don’t need to spend Michelin level money to eat well in Taipei. If you are into flavors without paying for the ambiance, this is a must visit. Fun fact: the most well known dishes are not always necessarily labeled “Michelin recommended” in the menu. “grandma’s pork”, “winter melon soup” are two such dishes. For the ones that are labeled as “Michelin recommended”, the free range chicken and vermicelli soup dishes are two I would highly recommend. Parking is difficult to find. I would recommend taking public transportation if possible.
