Da’an District, Taipei City｜Steak Inn

Considering ourselves very lucky to come across this cosy little steak place! We initially wanted to dine at the restaurant - Merlot Bistro which is right beside Steak Inn, not sure why it was closed at 1.40pm when their sign clearly indicates 2.30pm closing time. Anyway the food was awesome! I love the warm bread, the soup & the steak we had. Staff were super friendly & professional too. Can't wait to be back 🥰🥰

We come here for birthday celebration and we love its old school ambience inside. The food are absolutely palatable and the meat are handled well, very juicy and tasty. Also, the way each cuisine is presented is satisfying. The staff are friendly and helpful. However, for a restaurant at this level, some service quality can be improved. Overall, we love the time here and would definitely revisit again.

The best lobster I've ever eaten is in Yashi! As soon as you enter the door, you can see a blue aquarium with live Canadian lobsters. When you order food, you can't help but order one at a higher price when you look at the tank. I didn't expect to be shocked~ Attracted by the aroma as soon as it is on the table, the chef has already handled all the shells, and you can grab the fresh and tender meat just by flicking it with a shrimp fork. Remove the tail and claws, and under the shrimp paste is full of shrimp paste... The simple seasoning brings out the freshness and sweetness of the shrimp, and the rich taste of the shrimp paste makes me unable to extricate myself. I didn't expect to be conquered by this dish before eating the main meal steak. XDD The steak is the oven-grilled American CAB grade black beef steak! In addition to the slightly chewy Laogao steak, which is just medium rare, I also especially like his side dishes - potato chips and glutinous rice peppers. The potato chips are dense and the glutinous rice peppers are slightly spicy and crisp. , this combination is perfect! Overall, this trip is very worthwhile and cost-effective. The layout of the restaurant is elegant and comfortable, the atmosphere is good, the waiters are kind and courteous, the food is delicious and the portions are sufficient. I will definitely visit again!
