Songshan District, Taipei City｜The Jade Lounge

This place is nice but a bit hard to find. I had a hard time locating this shop. I was quite lost looking for this place but some staffs will be very kind to help you with directions if you ask. I went with my friend for afternoon tea. Their service was really amazing. When you arrive they check you in, seat you at your table, they take your coat and pull out your chair for you. I was running out of battery and they charged my phone for me. I had the classic set as my fiend couldn’t drink alcohol at all. Their dessert was delicious but was too much for me. I would like if they had more savory options such as sandwiches. The dessert tasted much better than the savory. I liked the scones but I just couldn’t eat it anymore because I had too much sweets. There is a minimum charge here and it’s $1480 and there is a 10% service charge. I was quite satisfied overall but think could improve a little bit with the menu. Still is a very nice place to have tea with your friends.

Famous afternoon tea set at Jade Lounge , I have tried their Mothers’ Day limited edition, scones are authentic, their housemade jam is legit. Savory pastries and desserts are skilfully made, they’re all delicious. Glad that I can have British afternoon tea at Taipei.

I’ve had an amazing time at the Jade Lounge. It was one of the best afternoon tea in Taipei, where sweets and savoury tea snacks were served on a three tier stand. It’s so difficult to find such good quality afternoon tea in Taipei and I have no idea why. But I’m glad I’ve found Jade Lounge.
