More Comments at Google MapIt's the local favorite where you get drunk and loud. Space has 10 large tables or so. Mostly for group dinning. Time flies when your with a company and plenty of beer, so it's understandable that you'll get 2 hours time limit for dine in. You got to order their fried rice. Fried fish roe was worth going back for. The classics: clams soup, stinky tofu, pork kidney. Don't forget to ask for seasonal vegetables.
No booking on a Sat but we managed to snagged a table for three because we arrived 5 mins before opening. Ordered the house specialties like Promfret Rice Vermicelli and Pan fried Pork Liver. Threw in a fried water lilly as well. Both the vermicelli and the pork liver did not disappoint. The former came in a steel cauldron, enough for 6 persons. It had deep fried egg batter, pork, mushrooms and of course the promfret. The fish was cut into cross section pieces and then deep fried before adding into the soup. Speaking of which, you can ask for more soup if you need. As for the liver, they we thick sliced and fried with a sweet soya sauce. The timing was critical as the resulting liver slices were slightly crunchy in the outside and powdery on the inside. Close to perfection. The fried water lily was quite normal. Service was fas and polite. I saw a few more interesting items on the menu and yes, I’ll be back for more in the near future. Strongly recommend!
We tried a lot of dishes, almost all was tasty and well seasoned. The price is a little higher since the quality of ingredients are better. As a local Taiwanese stir fry restaurant, it deserves to be a recommendation.
