More Comments at Google MapWe had a family dinner and stayed at the nearby Ashu Hotel. The service staff recommended a comfortable and delicious restaurant nearby, which is Dianshuilou. It is antique, has an elegant environment, has a small bridge and running water, and has an open kitchen countertop, which is a great visual enjoyment. There are a lot of Japanese people dining there. I guess there is some platform to recommend? There are also many people treating guests to dinner. The food is really good, and the taste is very consistent with the light taste of Taiwanese people. I highly recommend the "Water Tofu" dish. It contains a variety of ingredients and the tofu is delicious. I will order it again next time! "Seasonal vegetables" We ordered chrysanthemum and bean sprouts, both of which were quite delicious. If you want to eat vegetables, just ask the waiter what seasonal vegetables they have. "Colorful Xiao Long Bao" is amazing! I have often seen colorful steamed dumplings in Shanghai, but this was the first time I had eaten this one with thin skin and fresh meat. The most interesting thing is that the xiaolongbao are arranged in a circle, each with a different taste, and they are divided into flavors from light to strong! The "braised small yellow croaker" dish was also okay. Compared to the others, it was more ordinary. It might have been better if the meat was more tender. "Braised Lion's Head" I finally tasted the lion's head that I had been craving for a long time. The meat was very tender and very good. "Shepherd's Purse Stir-fried Rice Cake" rice cake is tender and delicious. Vegetarian friends can consider this dish, and non-vegetarians are welcome. We also ordered "Snow Pickle Leaf", ah, I really like pickle! I think the most delicious thing about "mullet roe fried rice" is the mullet roe fried rice. At first I thought it was ham, but after eating it I remembered that it was mullet roe! Thumbs up! The "stinky tofu" is quite tasty, with a stinky smell, but it is a bit spicy, so those who don't like spicy food may consider it again. There were too many dishes, and there were only four of us, so we couldn't finish them all. In the end, we packed some of them away. I hope the sister who ordered the dishes can help us pay attention to it next time. We were full after ordering too much. The menu has too many pages, so I’ll post a few pages for your reference! This store is located next to the Arena MRT station. It is easy to find. I will come again in the future. I heard that the taste of Dian Shui Lou in Shanghai is not the same as here. I guess the chefs are from different places~ and they may have made some taste adjustments to make it more down-to-earth.
Food is delicious, you can help a private room or just hangout with everyone. Good for having dinner with family or a group of friends.
1. Dian Shui Lou has really tasty xiao long bao - "probably" be the best in town! 2. This restaurant is great for both local and foreign customers who want to enjoy some high-quality Chinese cuisine fine dining. 3. The staff at Dain Shui Lou are very accommodating and will happily adjust dishes to your liking, like making them less spicy or oily. 4. If you like soup, be sure to try their black garlic soup - it's really good! 5. It is a bit pricey, but worth every penny
