Xinyi District, Taipei City｜二次会 NIJIKAI

I have come to Nijikai many times and it never disappoints. I tend to be a bit of a late eater, so the late hours of the restaurant are perfect for me. The Oden is a perfect late night meal and always hits the spot. The later you go the better the broth is but anytime it is delicious. Grilled meats and vegetables are always cooked and seasoned to absolute perfection. There are some nice simple drink options to go with your meals, but personally I always go for the Whiskey Highball. They are often a bit busy and may not have space when you try, but Nijikai should definitely be on your list of places to try in Taipei.

Didn’t really want to write a review about this place, because I secretly don’t want it to be too popular, food wise is flawless. I love everything about seasoning and fresh ingredients, the owner is always nice to us, what else can I ask for?

After living in the same building for months, we finally decided to make a reservation and see what the fuss was all about. Guys! This was such a lovely place.
