More Comments at Google MapTraditional sushi restaurant that is served with pride. The chef has been around for decades and kept serving up freebies. For the price of NT3000 I’d say we were very full and satisfied. The salmon was very fresh and smooth for our palate.
Delicious and affordable omakase! Chefs speak enough English to get you through, although there will be some trouble with certain types of fish. They have a few omakase menus. We did the lowest one (1.5k) and it was fantastic and filling. There are only a few seats so I recommend booking a reservation a few days before coming. Remember, if you order sake make sure to offer some to your sushi chef!!
"Shanhua" visited for the first time after moving to Xinyi Road. The log-colored bar is as elegant and textured as the sushi restaurant in Ginza. After all, the background of the old shop is different. The ripening and knife-cutting of sashimi, the exquisiteness and artwork-like presentation of each utensil and cup are not something that a food-drying store that competes with price cuts can do. Every sushi restaurant has tuna and sea urchin, but a piece of tuna that has been cooked precisely, evenly oiled and without ribs, is the best of the best after finishing. Here you will not see new-style sushi with sea urchin piled on tuna belly, scallops, and caviar, but first-class sushi that conforms to the spirit of traditional classic sushi and tries its best to present the purest flavor of each ingredient. With the different stages of serving, change to different hot teas, which are light and elegant at first, and then rich and moist; after the tongue coating is washed with the tea liquid, the mouth is ready to experience the taste of the next ingredient again. Each sushi restaurant presents a completely different style due to the different Itamae chefs. This time, Shanhua surpassed itself and became more sophisticated. Under the leadership of Mr. Atian, Shanhua is as simple, timeless, elegant and calm as before.
