One of my favorite bentou places. Food is great and very value for money. Highly recommend their braised chicken leg and fried pork chop.

I spent my childhood summers in Taipei, had lots of lunches here in the late 90’s. Was thrilled to see the owners still running it, and the food is just as good as I remember.

I went to this restaurant with my boyfriend and we were not disappointed. Instead, we regretted we didn’t visit here earlier. We were greeted warmly by the owner who doesn’t know much English, though, was trying very hard to explain us those wonderful dishes they provided that day. The value was excellent compared to other prices we had seen and we found the quality/value hard to match. I had soy-stewed pork with rice and my boyfriend had fish which we highly recommend. If you are an expat in Taipei, don’t miss this fascinating local restaurant!
