More Comments at Google MapIn short: I loved to have time with friends at TOKU and I will come here again for sure! Among advantages: service quality, exclusiveness, food taste and serving, friendliness. There are 2 key reasons which I will describe in details lower: 1) Service level is unprecedented to me from what I experienced in Taiwan in my 4 years here. First of all, friendliness of shed and restaurant owner is warming and accepting. Then reservation was easy and quick. Apparently the restaurant was empty, even though it was weekend. But I understand what it was empty! Restaurant was opened just for us, a group of only 4 people with a exclusive service and cooking from a chef and restaurant owner in one person. Time to time communication with him, some fun, drinks and he is already serving you a whole set of surprise dishes! TBH, that was a part of our experience since the menu is not big and for us it did not mattered what do we want to eat. We knew food here is good! 2) FOOD! I would describe it a Japanese fusion isakaya with 90% of quality. All ingredients are fresh, dishes looks amazing and I could not even take more than 1 picture because we were so excited we even forgot about pictures! Why is that 90% of quality is because shells is one dish, according to my friend, were not washed enough. I don’t eat them at all so I could not feel it. We had 4 or 5 courses meal and I enjoyed it on full!
It's late in Taipei, but your soul is still yearning for more exquisite experiences: Sensei Toku will take you to the next level! Tip - ask for wine sake!!
Heaven for drinkers Get drunk with value and happiness. The chef is kind and friendly. not taking advantage of customers Be considerate, plus some menus for us to try and eat at no cost.
