Xinyi District, Taipei City｜Texas Roadhouse

Recommended for American food lover. Texas Roadhouse was one of the restaurants which I always visit when I was in the States. The taste is above fair but not that stunning 😂 After back in Asia for couple of years, this is a place for traditional American style food 😆 We ordered the set for 2 including soup - mushroom soup, appetizers- buffalo wings, main course - sirloin steak medium rare with 1/4 short ribs, sides with loaded baked potatoes and steak fries and drinks - margaritas and a drinks which I forgot the name. An authentic America style steak house, the potion is good enough for sharing. The sides with different kinds of choices like fries, baked potato, sweet potatoes fries etc. Buffalo Wings is my all time favorite even though it’s not tossed with the sauce. But is much better than other restaurants in Taiwan. The steak are well cooked according to my preferences- medium rare - pink color inside. Can have a try if you like American dishes.

I enjoy eating here as it is one of the few places to have this experience in Taipei. The food is really good and the vibe is spot on. The staff are very nice and helpful and the service is exceptional. The price is definitely worth it especially the weekday lunch special.

Food was great. my New York strip was a little bit chewy and a bit under seasoned compared to what I usually like. Perfect medium rare as ordered. Baked potato was great flavor wise but the added bacon bits were overcooked and hard. If the steak was more tender and the bacon bits were not overcooked it would certainly be great value for the cost of about 1800NTD.
