Xinyi District, Taipei City｜Peng Garden Wedding Hall - Taipei

AKA The Peng's Agora Garden, and Peng's Gourmet and Banquet. Not just a banquet hall, also a regular restaurant open for lunch or dinner. Food has been consistently excellent over many visits. We live within walking distance, so we eat there regularly. Shrimp lettuce wraps are superb, and put P.F Chang's to shame. All dishes we've had over the years have been uniformly excellent. Special tofu dish is wonderful, as is the mushrooms with bamboo. All their sauces are especially tasty. Decor is nice, and as you'd expect for a wedding venue.

I had my Engagement on 10/28/2018. I rented the function room with only one big table for 24 PAX and we're only 23 PAX. My Fiancé's and 21 of our family and close friends flew in to Taiwan just to attend it. For several weeks, I coordinated with the Manager Michelle Kuo. After I chose the set menu, there were at least 3 dishes I wanted to change which was the higher price of the other set menu. Ms. Kuo was very gracious to change them for me without adding extra cost. I have requested for English menu since all my guests are English speakers, unfortunately Ms. Kuo said that all their menu are in Chinese. I asked if I translated them to English, would she be able to print them out? I also requested for print out of individual guest's name card, Ms. Kuo said "No problem." On 10/28, our families and friends were very impressed with the set up of the function room and their individual name card on the table. The dishes were cooked to my guests palates and the waiters/ waitresses service were applaudable. Ms. Kuo was constantly on hand to oversee that everything went smoothly. I've commented Ms. Kuo and staff on a job well done.

A wedding banquet hall with quite good facilities Especially the love boat that goes up into the sky is quite interesting! It provides a lot of fun for the guests present besides eating, drinking and watching awkwardly Never seen this device anywhere else ㄎ There is also a high-altitude terrace outside the banquet hall Let many smoking guests have a wide space to breathe Crowded in a small indoor smoking room compared to many big hotels It's much better to make a mess The location is close to the MRT station Personally, I think it is the hall that impressed me the most among the wedding banquets I have attended so far!
