Rare restaurant in Taiwan that has decent sandwiches! They have the highest quality bread, and the roasted pork sandwich is perfectly balanced. The tripe and beef may not appeal to foreigners, but I found it to be alright. Very limited seating so it’s more of a to-go spot when it’s busy.

Located 3 minutes away from Taipei Botanical Gardens, this place is a little hole in the wall with only outdoor two-person seating. I totally recommend getting this to go or ordering from home. Otherwise you’ll be sweating your seat off in muggy Taipei as this place has no air conditioning or fan. As for the sandwich, the flavors are delicious! I ordered the spicy pulled pork sandwich and the bread basically soaked up all the pork juices! It’s a little messy to eat so be warned, they do provide napkins. My only “issue” is that the coke cans are laughably small! Especially since it’s crazy hot out. But perhaps others may prefer a smaller serving of drinks.

Stumbled upon this restaurant through a friend. Had a third visit today. First try for sandwiches turned out to be decent. I could see that the flavor was there. Second try, a slight improvement on the bread and sandwich texture. Good spice and flavor. Today, the bread had the perfect toastiness for the filing, sandwich was bursting of flavor, the cilantro, spiciness, texture, all balanced. There was creaminess, either from a yoghurt base or cheese, which was needed before. I feel the owner is improving, and I love to see that. Added to my list of favourites. Update: The curry sauce outperforms any Indian restaurant in Taipei.
