More Comments at Google MapI've hearing for years about this small local spot that served excellent food at reasonable price and I finally got the chance to try it. After entering the restaurant, one must place the order and pay, then they will bring the food. Inside the restaurant is very small and I estimate could seat like 18 peoples at most; there is a self-service station where one get plastic spoons and chopsticks, as well as complimentary soup and red pepper pickles. The place is relatively busy but it does not cause delay for dine-in orders. Overall, this small food joint might not look too impressive, but, my gosh, they have served one of the best fried rices I've ever ate.
This appears to be a busy local joint. Walked past here at 1130am on a weekday and it was mobbed. So naturally I had to try it for myself. I got the 3 treasures rice with char siu, duck and chicken. The side veggies were weird, like some pickled veggie and cabbage. Like a poor man's lunch. The char siu was so so, duck had a weird taste, but the chicken was very very good. The rice was flavored and sweet and that was the highlight of my bento. I also got the cantonese style fried noodles which came with tons of squid, fish, tiny shrimp, mushroom, and veggie. It was no longer crispy when I got home after half an hour but it the crispy part I had left was really good. Very cheap at 100NT each. Would recommend here for a quick and cheap lunch if you're into Cantonese food.
The taste is very authentic and delicious
