Possibly the best noodles in all Taiwan. Oh, and the fishballs with pork and soup inside, spectacular. I'm in Taipei once or twice a year, always manage to visit this place. A poor man's Din Tai Fung.

The ancient breakfast tastes delicious!

The Zhajiang noodles were quite good and had generous portions; I guess that's why the store has zhajiang on their signs. The fishball noodle soup had a big portion size, but was comparatively bland. Nonetheless the fishballs and the black bean-hot pepper paste at each of the tables helped to improve it. For the price, it was excellent. Would recommend to those looking for cheap eats open fairly late or those in to noodles.
