I'm seeing a lot of 1 star reviews, it is disgusting that people do not appreciate this food. I am a Foreigner and do not know the local cuisine but my meal was delicious and it was served very quickly. I had the catfish stew/soup and the Tainan noodles

每次來師大必吃的台南小吃Favorite place since I was little. I see some tourists leaving bad reviews I think it’s because they don’t understand the local cuisine. To clarify the noodles are supposed to be kinda chewy and hard because they are fried before being boiled. This is Tainan cuisine so it is more in the sweeter side.

I have been here twice now and both of the times I ordered fried rice. The place is not small nor big. It's usually packed during lunch time, but if lucky you still can find a place to sit.
