We can feel how much the chef put his passion into his food and this little but warm izakaya. Freshly hand made food, not a wide range of option but he manage to make each of it delicious and delicate. Nice vibe, reasonable price, friendly service. Limited seat, reserve in advanced is recommended. This is one of my fav in Taipei izakaya pocket list. 老闆的一人深夜食堂太讚了

The per capita consumption is about 500 or so and you can eat enough (order a glass of wine each). I think the food is delicious and not expensive, and it is also very suitable for chatting! I especially recommend scallops, mullet roe mochi, and tomato pork skewers~

The skewers are not expensive for a Taipei izakaya and are well grilled. The scallops are very special and worth ordering. The clams steamed with wine are large and fresh. Friends who travel with the bartender and beer say they are delicious. More importantly, the boss is very nice. Funny, is it a bonus to have only one male guest in the whole room on Saturday night?
