We had a wonderful dinner at Goodbeitao. We ordered a 2-person set with juicy xiaolongbao, awesome seafood fried rice, lovely radish cake, stir-fired veggie, steamed stinky tofu, sesame sweet bun and a bottle of cold tea. All dishes are superb. The service is great, the english-speaking staff are especially helpful for visitors like us. The restaurant is well decorated with a warm, cozy and modern vibe. It’s located about 1km from Chiang Kai-shek memorial hall and a few minutes walk to MRT station. Highly recommended for anyone staying in Taipei. I enjoyed it so much more than Din Tai Fung. This has been one of my favorite meals in Taipei and I’ll return in my next visit.

Nice food and service! Highly recommended place for dinner in weekdays. Well-known Chinese dish with perfect flavor are listed in menu to order. If you are a tourist here in Taipei, you would not miss this place.

Delicious food, a little like Dintaifung but with even more service and friendly staff. Popular amongst locals, it was full on a weekday lunch with a short 15min wait for a table. The xiaolongbao were super delicious and juicy, and filled with a good amount of meat and soup.
