Zhongshan District, Taipei City｜臨洋港生猛活海鮮長安店

Really, one of the better Chinese restaurants I have been to in a while. I thought everything we ordered here was excellent. I don't know all the names because my wife ordered, but the sweet and sour pork was a standout. Food also came very quickly. It's not a very fancy restaurant though. You get your own drinks from a fridge. Get your own white rice. So there's really no table service other than bringing the food out to you. Seats are also pretty uncomfortable and the tables are awkwardly low. There's a guy preparing string beans at one of the tables. But the most important thing about a restaurant is the food and that was very good.

Loved the food here! We came here one night right when they opened at 5 pm and ordered a few dishes. The food had good flavor and that 郭氣味. We liked that the rice was self serve and cooked perfectly. The stairs to go up to the second level are a bit steep so watch your step! It is a bit intimidating if you have a fear of heights.

Definitely the tastiest meals I had in Taipei so far!
